Jordan Kuwait Bank Signs MoU with King Hussein Cancer Foundation

Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) and The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, according to which JKB will make a donation to the Foundation through the “Naming and Recognition” Program, and by which the Chemotherapy Unit in the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Building will be named after the Bank. The donation will be used to cover the cost of infrastructure, equipment and devices at the King Hussein Cancer Center. This agreement was signed by Ms. Nisreen Qatamish – Director General of KHCF and Mr. Haethum Buttikhi – Chief Executive Officer of JKB, and comes as part of the longstanding partnership between the Foundation and the Bank, whereby the Bank has supported many of the Foundation’s programs that aim at providing comprehensive care and treatment for the Center’s patients. Commenting on the partnership, Ms. Nisreen Qatamish said: “We value the role Jordan Kuwait Bank has played in supporting King Hussein Cancer Foundation. We appreciate the Bank’s efforts and standing by us to achieve our humanitarian mission, and to provide the best comprehensive treatments to our patients.” For his part, Mr. Haethum Buttikhi – Chief Executive Officer of JKB, commented: “Supporting KHCF is one of our main initiatives within our social responsibility, and we believe in the noble mission of the Foundation and the world class level of medical services it provides with its distinguished medical cadres, imposing us to pay special attention to the health sector and patients in particular. We will continue to support the Foundation, and raise awareness among members of the society on the importance of early detection and to support the Foundation to provide the needed treatment and medical care to patients.”
